Room was very small, the pillow and bed was very uncomfortable. There was no water given, toothbrush or any shampoo. Their Body was has the same colour as the hand wash. I can’t believe I was charged 350+ for this horrible room. And they check in counters took forever, they have one whole row of counters but only 3 is open during holiday season?!
And they simply charge us for the tax, they charges us RM62 for one night for the three of us? That’s insanely high. I will never come back to this horrible hotel, I suggest whoever is reading this, please don’t make the same mistake I did, and if you’re a foreigner and hotel is better than this rather than be charged so high for the tax for a cheap dirty hotel.
Not even joking, the moment I opened the door, the hotel looks like those motel that charges you 80-90 per night.

Room small but not bad as everything located inside. Only minus point is the check in service need to wait for hours & not friendly assistant. Putting kiosk do it yourself wasted. Gondola also waited for 2.5 hours.

I had a great stay at Genting First World Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to attractions, shops, and restaurants within the Genting Highlands area. The hotel lobby is spacious and check-in was smooth, especially with the self-service kiosks. The room was compact but clean and well-maintained — perfect for a short stay. The view from the window was amazing, especially with the surrounding mist and mountains. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was very convenient and enjoyable. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

Registration was easy and flawless. We booked 2n with wifi but somehow there was no wifi in the room.

Booking via Trip.com (travel apps)
The Genting Kiosk check in system not friendly use
Need register by Kiosk Assistant then proceed to Self Check In Kiosk again after.
My booking is Y5 Deluxe with WiFi but First World in record is given Deluxe without WiFi.
The assistant asked me call Trip.Com to clarify but I think is wasted my time moreover there will not anyone attending this matter, that’s what I am aware of.
